Building Our Legacy in India
Founded in 2021 with 15 members, the Shared Service Center (SSC) has grown into a dynamic hub of specialized expertise supporting JB Poindexter & Co's global business units. In just a few years, we’ve scaled rapidly, expanding across Engineering, IT, HR, Finance, Sourcing & Procurement and Business Operations, while becoming a trusted partner in driving innovation and operational excellence.

Our Leadership
John B. Poindexter
CEO & Chairman
John B. Poindexter is a decorated military veteran, successful entrepreneur and third-generation Texan who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and sole owner of JB Poindexter & Co.John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with Honors, from the University of Arkansas. Subsequently, New York University conferred upon him a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance. He also taught economics and finance as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Long Island University.Following his undergraduate education, John volunteered for the U.S. Army and Officer Candidate School.
Norb Markert
President & COO
Norb assumed the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of JB Poindexter & Co in January of 2021.Prior to his current role, he had served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Corporation since October 2005. He joined Morgan after a 22-year background that included several engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and general management assignments.Norb holds both a B.A. degree in Economics and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is also a member of the World Presidents’ Organization.
David Nuzzo
CFO & General Counsel
David is responsible for the supervision of corporate finance, accounting and reporting, treasury functions, investor relations, tax planning and legal affairs.Before joining JBPCO, he was the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for SL Industries, Inc., a publicly-traded, power electronics manufacturer with operations in six countries. Previously, David held positions with a highly successful private equity fund concentrating on middle-market companies and a well-established law firm specializing in corporate/securities transactions.David holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Boston College, a J.D. degree from Emory University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Mark Arnold
Chief Information Officer & Vice President Business Systems
Mark Arnold serves as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Business Systems for JB Poindexter & Co. He oversees global technology strategy, cybersecurity, and shared services operations, leading a team of professionals across the U.S. and India. With more than two decades of experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Hewlett-Packard Company, Mark has held multiple senior leadership roles spanning Strategy and Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology Services. His extensive background in enterprise technology and operations has been instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency across global functions.Mark holds an Executive MBA from the University of Houston, and a BBA in Operations Management from Texas A&M University.
Prathap Varkey
Global Vice President of Shared Services & Business Process Solutions
Prathap Varkey serves as the Global Vice President of Shared Services and Business Process Solutions at JB Poindexter & Co., bringing extensive experience in enterprise transformation across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.Before joining JB Poindexter & Co., Prathap held senior leadership roles at Accenture and Equinor North America, where he led large-scale Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Shared Services initiatives. His leadership in operational excellence has driven transformative outcomes across Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain functions, delivering measurable efficiencies and performance improvements across multiple regions.Prathap holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma City University and an MBA from Shivaji University. He has also completed an executive certification at Harvard Business School.
Santosh Pappachan
Resident Director & General Manager
Santosh Pappachan serves as the Resident Director and General Manager of JB Poindexter & Co’s Shared Service Center. He joined the organization in December 2023 to lead operations, compliance, delivery, and strategic growth for the Shared Service Centre.With over 25 years of leadership experience in global organizations and capability centers, Santosh brings deep expertise in operations, transformation, stakeholder engagement, and people management. His prior roles include leadership positions at Accenture, British Petroleum, and IBM, where he successfully led large-scale transformation and automation initiatives across multi-location teams.Santosh holds a Postgraduate degree in Financial Management and Taxation Law and a Gold Certification in Operations Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
